The San Jose State University Concert Choir and Chorale
will be joined by the Cantabile Youth Singers to present "Dreams
and Memories," a choral concert dedicated to the memory
of those who perished in Beslan, Russia, a town stunned by
a bloody confrontation between Russian forces and Chechen
militants who had taken more than 1,000 hostages at a school.
Works by Handel, Mendelssohn, Mozart, Whitacre, and Chesnokov.
