Elena Sharkova to conduct Honors Choir at SWCDA 2008
Elena Sharkova, Artistic Director, Cantabile Youth Singers will be conducting the 8-10 Grade Girl's Honor Choir at the South West Division Convention of American Choral Directors Association, February 20-23 in Kansas City, Missouri. In this prestigious engagement, next only to the National ACDA Convention, Elena will work with young women from TX, OK, AR, MO, CO and KS who competed to win a spot in the chorus of 125 voices. Zachary Freier-Harrison
Zachary Freier-Harrison, Vocalise singer, just finished a run (11/1-4) as the Prince/Beast in Jordan Middle School's production of Disney's Beauty and the Beast. Congratulations Zachary!
Julia Angelopoulos
Julia Angelopoulos, a soprano in Ensemble with Cantabile, and a Freshman at Palo Alto High School, recently had her first solo debut singing "Shut de Do" by Randy Stonehill in her High School Choir on October 25th. Palo Alto's High School Choir has performed in and been recognized for outstanding performances in the All-State and Regional Honor Choirs and various festivals throughout the state.
