News for All Choirs

Thanks to new families who attended the Parent Meetings. Here’s a recap of general information:

Communications

Will be sent via email through monthly newsletters and calendars and weekly updates. Notices of upcoming concerts and special events will be sent one week prior to the event. Please read all materials. Most information is available 24 hours a day on this website.

Roster information, including family email addresses, are to be used only by Cantabile staff or designated volunteers. Families should not use these lists to send mass emails. If there is something you feel should be communicated to the choir at large, please submit it to the office for consideration. Families may use roster information to contact individual families about arranging carpools or picking up information from rehearsals for a singer who is absent.

Rehearsal conduct

Parents may observe rehearsals but are requested to stay behind the banquet tables, keep talking and movement to a minimum. Distractions interfere with the ability of our artistic staff to provide the highest level education to your child. Please support our staff in their efforts.

Volunteerism

Cantabile operates successfully in large part because of the support of our generous parent volunteers. Please consider the ways you might be able to assist Cantabile this season with your talents. A Volunteer sign-up form has been made available to you and we request that you read it over, choose a few opportunities to your interest and return the form to our Program Manager, Keri Elser. If you would prefer to email your interest, please direct that to Keri at keri@cantabile.org.

Uniforms

Please be sure to fill out your Uniform Order Forms and return them with your payment by March 15th. Uniform Order Forms are available on our website. You may mail or fax this to the office as well!

Concert and Chamber choir members should wait until a decision has been reached on uniforms for spring/tour.

Registration and Payment

If you have not yet made your tuition payment, please add the $20 late fee and get it to our office today. Time spent tracking down late forms and payment takes time away from the musical part of Cantabile. Help support our efforts to be more focused on music and to have accurate records for our teachers by returning your materials in a timely manner.
