Greetings from your new artistic director!

I am honored and thrilled to assume this position. It has been a dream of mine to return to working with young voices. We all share a passion for music education the overall growth of your child. After hearing and seeing all Cantabile ensembles in concert and at rehearsals this past spring, I am very impressed by the singers’ enthusiasm, musicality and vocal skills and can’t wait to begin working with such fine musicians!

Tuition Updates

Tuition rates are for the full season, payable in one or two installments. Payment is due August 15 and December 15 of each season. You may note slight increases or decreases as we work toward an even tuition level for all choirs.

Updated tuition rates are in the Cantabile Handbook.

Class Days / Times

There are changes and modifications for all choirs. Our Calendar has the updated schedule.

New Scholarship Fund

The new “Signe Boyer Scholarship Fund” enables Cantabile to offer financial aid to families in need. Please contact Sonja Wohlgemuth at 650-424-1410 for policy information and application review process.

New Staff

We welcome Kara Ireland D’Ambrosio as our new Preparatory Choir Instructor! Kara is has been teaching with Peninsula Girls Chorus for the past 3 years, leads choral programs for Woodside Elementary and currently the lead instructor and manager for our Cantabile Summer Music Day Camps. Kara won a GRAMMY Gold Award in 2002 for excellence in Music Education.

Welcome to Keri Elser, our new administrative Program Manager! Keri comes to us from Chicago Children’s Choir where she has an extensive 6-year teaching and administrative background as well as holding an Artist Teacher position for Chicago Opera Theater, coaching children’s choirs for mainstage productions. Keri will be working with JoAnn, Sonja, Elena and board committees in the development of our programs over the next several years and sharing in the administrative day-to-day responsibilities of Cantabile Youth operations. Additionally, Keri will be engaged in the Masters program in performance at San Jose State University.

2004-2005 Calendar

To help with your school year scheduling, we have prepared a comprehensive season schedule. An updated calendar will be available in September. Please note semester start dates, concerts and workshops.

Registration Forms

When registering, please complete a new registration form so that we have current information on you and your singer. Return by August 15 with tuition payment for confirmation of Fall 2004 enrollment.
