New Artistic Director to be Named in Early April

The Search Committee for the new Cantabile Artistic Director who will succeed Signe Boyer, Cantabile’s founder and current Artistic Director, has reported that it will announce its selection during the first days of April.

The responses to the call for candidates came from many different states and from people of many different backgrounds.

The announcement will be made to Cantabile families by email and in person by Cantabile teachers and staff. Those of you who attended the rehearsals where the different candidates led a choir through a rehearsal know first-hand of the high caliber of our applicants. Interest in Cantabile is strong among the artistic community. Our children are among the best trained and our reputation is excellent. Our aim in searching for Signe’s successor was to continue the fine tradition she established for Cantabile and to further the organization’s work among the children of this area.
