Support the Gala
Cantabile Youth Singers of Silicon Valley provides exceptional music education and performance opportunities for over 300 local school-age children. As members of Cantabile choirs, our children perform with prominent artists such as the Kronos String Quartet and appeared in a stand-alone concert at Carnegie Hall in 2015. Last season, our singers toured Italy and sang at St Peter’s in the Vatican as well as at several music festivals. Our singers expand their cultural awareness as they learn rigorous repertoire in varied languages: Cantabile Youth Singers has toured in Austria, England, Estonia, Finland, Hungary, Italy, Canada and Russia as well as the United States.
Cantabile’s annual Gala Celebration enables us to sponsor scholarships and music education opportunities for local children. There are many opportunities for support available - we have three levels of table sponsorship as well as the opportunity to sponsor the cocktail reception and silent auction, décor and flowers, and the opportunity to underwrite the food and wine served at the event. All of these levels of sponsorship offer additional recognition for the donor. Companies and individuals can also donate items and experiences for the silent and live auctions.
In 2015, our fifth annual gala was held in celebration of Cantabile’s Twentieth Anniversary Season, and honored Signe Boyer, Cantabile’s founder, first Artistic Director and Board Member Emerita. It was a very special evening celebrating the incredible influence that Cantabile has had on the youth choral community and on hundreds of individual children’s lives in the past 20 years.
In addition to the marvelous musical opportunities supported by our sponsors and donors, it is worth considering that the communities served by Cantabile Youth Singers of Silicon Valley have highly favorable marketing demographics for sponsors. Our community consists primarily of professionals and decision-makers aged 35 and above with average household incomes of well over $150,000. We hosted more than 220 guests at this year’s Gala, including many distinguished philanthropists and supporters affiliated with Silicon Valley’s top performing arts organizations. The event raised $60,000, which allowed us to bring music to more children in the Silicon Valley community and to foster a lifetime appreciation of the arts. With your support, we hope to make next year’s event an even greater success!
