Past PerformancesConcerts Holidays with Cantabile Carols in The California Preparatory Winter Concert Peninsula Children's Chorus Festival Hosted by Cantabile Youth Singers of Silicon Valley, the Peninsula Children's Choir Festival brought together children's choral groups from elementary schools in the San Francisco Bay Area for an entire day of musical training in various ensembles, culminating in a public concert. A Jazz Gala Cantabile Youth Singers of Silicon Valley is proud to have honored Champion of the Arts, Angela McConnell, Executive Director of Montalvo Arts Center in its 2011 Gala. The event included wine tasting courtesy of Sonnet Wines, gourmet dinner and auction featuring exclusive items and vacation packages, music by the Larry Dunlap and Bobbe Norris Jazz Trio and a special performance by Cantabile Youth Singers. Face and Heart - New Music for Treble Voices Marking its fourth year in 2011, the New Music for Treble Voices Festival continues to grow, drawing high-caliber choral groups throughout the Bay Area. The Peninsula Women's Chorus, Piedmont East Bay Children's Choir and Volti were joined by Crystal Children's Choir and the Cantabile Youth Singers. More than two hundred voices joined together on stage to tell compelling stories, ending with the world premiere of Pablo Ortiz's "Face & Heart", specially co-commissioned for this festival. After the wildly successful All-Choir Concert in 2010 - Stand Together - once again, Cantabile presented nearly 200 young singers of all ages in a lively program guaranteed to inspire! Cantabile Upper Choir Concert Featuring music by Duke Ellington, Paul Simon, and the legendary John Lennon, this was the season's final concert before our senior choirs departed on a concert tour of England, where they also participated in the Somerset Iternational Choral Festival in the summer of 2011. The performance was a bright highlight of our season, sparkling with the enthusiasm of our young singers as they gave a sneak preview of their tour program for our local audience. Somerset International Children's Choral Festival Cantabile Youth Singers' Ensemble and Vocalise Choirs joined other US and international choirs in this prestigious festival with our own Elena Sharkova as a Artistic Director.
