Marking its fourth year in 2011, the New Music for Treble Voices Festival continues to grow, drawing high-caliber choral groups throughout the Bay Area. The Peninsula Women's Chorus, Piedmont East Bay Children's Choir and Volti were joined by Crystal Children's Choir and the Cantabile Youth Singers. More than two hundred voices joined together on stage to tell compelling stories, ending with the world premiere of Pablo Ortiz's "Face & Heart", specially co-commissioned for this festival.

Featuring music by Duke Ellington, Paul Simon, and the legendary John Lennon, this was the season's final concert before our senior choirs departed on a concert tour of England, where they also participated in the Somerset Iternational Choral Festival in the summer of 2011. The performance was a bright highlight of our season, sparkling with the enthusiasm of our young singers as they gave a sneak preview of their tour program for our local audience.
