1. VOLUNTEER UPDATEThank you to so many of you for jumping in to help! Here is what we are still missing:
- For May 20th - Riser help –
- 3 people ABLE TO LIFT for the May 20th concert (we currently have one and need a total of 4)
- For June 2nd Riser Help – 4 spots open………Elena, Shane, and I can’t lift them by ourselves! How about teenage siblings not singing? We will give them a ticket!
- Chaperoning: (supervising singers during breaks and before concert – you will not miss any of the concert!)
- We have chaperones for our May 20th concert – THANK YOU!, but we still need 2 for the 6/2 concert.
- Clean up help: 3 parents for each concert to assist with theater/sanctuary clean up. (this should be a quick 10 minute job if there is more than one person.)
- Ticket sales: Filled – THANK YOU!!!
- Boutique: Filled – THANK YOU!!
- Stage Manager: - one needed for 5/20 and one for 6/2
- One needed for 5/20 concert and one for 6/2 (We do already have Concert Managers for both concerts, but we need Stage Managers to help onstage, announce intermission, flash lights, etc. ) - Reception Help: 2 for set up on 5/20, 2 for clean up
- As of right now, we have no volunteers to assist with a 6/2 reception.

FEEDBACK FOR WILLIAM LODEN ON THE CANTABILE VIDEOWilliam Loden, our videographer, is requesting any feedback (positive or negative) on the Holidays with Cantabile video from our Dec. 2nd concert. Please email Jennifer Hsu our Business Manager with any comments!

Karen will begin selling tickets during rehearsal again on Wednesday, May 9th from 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm. AFTER WEDNESDAY YOU WILL NEED TO BUY THEM FROM THE OFFICE. You can email our Business Manager Jennifer Hsu, manager@cantabile.org and she will hold them at will call. Ticket prices will be the same as in the fall - $50 Benefactor (front row), $25 Premium reserved seating, $15 general, $6 student. All enrolled families receive 2 General seating comp tickets, which will be distributed on May 2nd. Volunteers are entitled to one comp Premium ticket, but they must turn in their comp General seating and pay the $10 difference to receive an upgrade. Thank you!

As part of our outreach and recruiting effort, Cantabile is bringing Intermediate, Vocalise and Ensemble to the Stanford Shopping Center in Palo Alto for an afternoon performance. Tell your family and friends to come cheer us on! More details as we get closer to the date!
6. VOICE CLASSES - The last voice classes for the year with Elena will be May 7th and 14
- Location: Learning Center, Foothills Congregational Church. (please note – this is NOT the Parish Hall where we rehearse, but in the adjacent building next to the choir rooms.)
